On Sunday, September 20, 2026, communities across Canada will once again come together for the annual Terry Fox Run, continuing a proud Canadian tradition and raising funds for vital cancer research.
The Terry Fox Run is a wonderful opportunity for members of the Halton legal community, together with family, friends and colleagues, to get out and support the communities in which we live and work. You can run, walk, bring the kids or simply come out and take part. It isn't a race — although a little friendly competition among lawyers is always welcome!
There are five Terry Fox Runs across Halton Region this year:

More than four decades after Terry Fox's Marathon of Hope, his determination and vision continue to bring Canadians together and support important advances in cancer research. It would be great to see a strong turnout from the Halton County Law Association at Run sites throughout the Region.
Pick your local Run, lace up your shoes and join your community on September 20. And if a little Oakville–Burlington–Milton–Georgetown–Acton rivalry helps raise a few more dollars for cancer research, all the better.
Hope to see many HCLA members out on Run Day!
Thank you.
