Additional notes:
1.  Counsel should contact the Trial Coordinator’s Office by telephone.  That way the new date can be obtained right away and the old date vacated.
2. The limitation is 4 pages of background/facts/submissions that are usually appended to Form 17.  Recently, one counsel added a 54 page summary for the case conference judge!  Such conference briefs will be rejected.
3. If conference briefs are filed in accordance with the Rules, there should be no difficulty in the materials getting to the judge.  The Registrar double checks this.  Where the problem arises is where the materials are filed within a day or two of the conference. The electronic filing portal receives over 300 submissions a day from counsel.  There is obviously a delay in getting files to the judge.  As a result, I insisted that the family law case conference filings for these two special family conference weeks are to be filed by January 31, 2021, or the matter may be removed administratively from the hearings list or not heard by the conference judge. There are three weeks prior to this deadline and it should not be onerous to comply with this requirement.
